Facility
Multilingual Chicago is located in
the recently-rehabbed, historic Orbit Buidling on the corner of
Milwaukee and Central park in the Logan Square/Avondale area (map).
Within one city block you can find restaurants featuring Polish,
Ecuadorian and Mexican cuisine - and if you're lucky, you can probably
find a tamale vendor pushing his cart at the exact time your stomach
is starting to rumble.
With the help of a grant from the City of Chicago's
Small Business Improvement Fund, we built out our space to create
a comfortable learning environment for adults and kids. You'll be
greeted by brightly colored walls, exposed brick, local art from
the Milwaukee Avenue Arts Festival and a cafe and kitchen area with
organic coffee and tea waiting for you. And even better - we're
ADA accessible according to the new 2009 regulations.
And coming this summer, we're expanding our space
to include a larger cafe area, two additional classrooms and two
private tutoring offices! Click here
for the floor plan, and look for our official launch of the new
space this fall!
