Multilingual Chicago's founder is Dr. Jill Bishop, a linguistic anthropologist with twenty years of experience teaching language and culture both in the US and abroad. She founded Workforce Language Services in 2005 (MC's parent company) and has brought customized language training to Lou Malnati’s, the Chicago Fire, Kraft, Diana’s Bananas, the Field Museum, Yum! Brands, Cargill, Marriott Chicago, Four Seasons DC, Grand Victoria Casino, Omni Chicago and many others.

In addition to her MA/PhD from UCLA, Jill’s BA was in Spanish Education at University of Illinois. Her academic teaching experience includes ULCA, Kendall College, Triton Community College, Oakton Community College, Harper College, Robert Morris College and Maine South High School.
