Testimonials
We always love hearing from our students, whether
it's praise, constructive feedback on what we could be doing differently,
what languages they'd like us to offer - whatever they want to share.
Here's just a few things we've heard that made us smile:
The
staff is extremely friendly and knowledgable. I missed my first
class, but they were able to provide a free make-up class so I
wasn't slowed down. My instructor really makes learning enjoyable
and my classmates are easy to work with. It's been a lot of fun!
Our
2.5 year old takes a Spanish class here and she loves going. The
space is great, with a cafe-like space for students to hang out,
there's always coffee (really good coffee!) and snacks for the
kids. The teacher, Anna, is great with toddlers and gets them
to really engage in class. It's a great addition to the neighborhood.
Multilingual
Chicago offers a truly cool program called Bilingual Boot Camp.
Everything, including, the instructors, the owner, the curriculum,
the ambiance of the space, the yummy snacks and hipness of the
neighborhood was perfect for us. The weekend curriculum covered
common verbs, vocab and phrases. All very useful for a beginning
or even a lower level intermediate spanish speaker. The teachers
were great about showing us how to use what we were learning in
real life, as we spent a portion of the weekend out in the neighborhood
going to restaurants, street vendors and stores where spanish
was spoken . Bottom line: A wonderfully enriching way to spend
a weekend learning about Latin American culture and language,
presented by people who are passionate about teaching.
I
love Multilingual Chicago for the 3-5 year-old Spanish class that
my daughter attends, and looking forward to jump-starting my own
language knowledge by taking the next Bilingual Boot Camp. I'm
told that besides classroom learning that weekend, we'll be taking
a few field trips to try out our newly acquired Spanish skills
in the real world...a challenge I'm looking forward to (even if
I'm a bit scared). All this language learnin' is possible for
my family because the prices are very reasonable. I also love
MC because it's a warm, inviting, cool-looking community gathering
place--my family recently attended a get-together for parents
weighing schooling options for their preschoolers.
My
three year old daughter takes Spanish classes at Multilingual
Chicago and she LOVES it. The instructor is very engaging and
nurturing with the children. My child is teaching me Spanish when
she's not in class. I am very impressed with the owner, the facility,
parking and the value of these lessons. Multilingual Chicago Rocks!
Anything you want to talk about? Just contact
us. Suggest a class or a cultural event. Talk to us about renting
our space. Ask us what kind of coffee* we serve. Ask our recommendations
on where to go in Latin America. We like to talk - but we really
like to listen, too.
