Culture & Language Events

At Multilingual Chicago, we believe very strongly in the importance of teaching both language and culture- which is why you'll find that we offer both stand-alone cultural events as well as language events and classes that are infused with cuture. Many of our events are free, while others charge a minimal fee. All events are open to students and the public!

Dad's Night Out - Pub Crawl

Friday, February 10th, 7 - 10 pm

Multilingual Chicago and the Little Tots of Logan Square Meetup Group present Dad's Night Out Pub Crawl!

Enjoy a fun night out with other dads with exploring Logan Square. Dads will board a trolley to visit local bars including: Revolution Brewing, Quencher's, Weegie's, and other pubs.

Drop off the family at Multilingual Chicago for pizza and a movie. Feel free to bring pjs, pillow and blanket. Trolley will meet back at Multilingual Chicago at 10 pm.

Cost: $30 per family (cost includes pizza and movie for the kids and transportation cost - excludes beverages and tips)

This Presidents Day, Play and Learn with Multilingual Kids!

Monday, February 20th, 9 am - 4 pm

Schools are closed, but we are open!

Bring your child to Multilingual Chicago for a day of fun and learning in a safe nurturing environment. Activities in Spanish including arts & crafts, singing & dancing, and movie time!

  • Morning and afternoon snacks provided (kids bring a sack lunch)
  • Ages 4-10
  • $50 for the whole day ($10 sibling discount)

College - Getting There from here - "College Savings Presentation"

Wednesday, February 22nd, 10 - 11 am

Khloe Karova, an Edward Jones Financial Adviser in Logan Square, is hosting a free college savings presentation at Multilingual Chicago. The presentation will include:

  • Questions to consider as investors establish a college savings goal
  • Strategies to help investors reach their goals
  • Features and benefits of 529 college savings plans

Refreshments will be served. Kids will learn a new language with a complimentary language class from Multilingual Chicago during the presentation.
