Community Spanish - Free!
Tuesday, August 10th, 6:00pm-9:00pm
Looking for some Spanish basics to help you get around
the neighborhood, help you communicate at work or in advance of
a trip? Think of this as a mini Bilingual Boot Camp in a 3-hour
version, and this time, it's free! Our Community Spanish Class is
designed as a fun and quick introduction to practical Spanish you
can use everyday. Topics include pronunciation, greetings, courtesies,
numbers and more. While this is designed for those with no background
in Spanish, if you've studied Spanish in the past but your brain
is feeling rusty, this will be a great review!
This is a free event, but registration
is required! (**Please choose check/money order at checkout - but
there no cost to this event.**)

in the Comments section. (**Please choose check/money order at checkout

Bilingual Boot Camp
Ongoing dates
Give us a day, and we'll get you talking! For those
that want to learn the basics of a language but don't have a lot
of time to do so, consider our 7-hour Bilingual Boot Camp: an intensive
program for beginners looking to learn practical vocabulary and
expressions in advance of a trip, for work or to just get around
your neighborhood.
Multilingual Chicago offers a truly cool program
called Bilingual Boot Camp. Everything, including, the instructors,
the owner, the curriculum, the ambiance of the space, the yummy
snacks and hipness of the neighborhood was perfect for us. The
weekend curriculum covered common verbs, vocab and phrases. All
very useful for a beginning or even a lower level intermediate
spanish speaker. The teachers were great about showing us how
to use what we were learning in real life, as we spent a portion
of the weekend out in the neighborhood going to restaurants, street
vendors and stores where spanish was spoken . Bottom line: A wonderfully
enriching way to spend a weekend learning about Latin American
culture and language, presented by people who are passionate about
teaching.
